Hi, My name is John Parkin and I'm running for Summers County Commissioner. I have a true desire to serve this community. I believe to do this I will exercise what should be the norm and that's accountability to the people. Apathy has set into our communities mostly because they feel nothing can be done. I'm running to change this misconception. When I say I'm going to do something, I won't look for excuses why it can't be done. Instead I'll work feverishly to ensure that the people who put me here can trust that the job at hand does get done and correctly and in a timely manner. Things are the way they are because the people haven't had a choice, now that all changes. Log on and let's talk. Tell me what you think and ask me questions.
